Powerlust Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
Powerlust ("the game") is an offline action RPG developed by Bartłomiej Mamzer, an independent developer ("I", "me"). This policy explains what data the game and the services it uses collect, why, and what choices you have. It applies to Powerlust on iOS, Android and PC.
In short
- You don't need an account to play, and I don't ask for your name, email address or any other contact details.
- The game sends me anonymous gameplay statistics that can't be linked to you or your device.
- Rewarded ads are optional. The ad networks that show them collect device data under their own privacy policies, and you can refuse personalized ads.
- Payments are handled entirely by Apple or Google. I never see your payment details.
- Cloud saves are stored in your own iCloud or Google Play Games account.
1. Data the game collects itself
Anonymous gameplay statistics
To understand how the game is played and to find problems, the game sends basic gameplay statistics, such as game progress and play time, to a server hosted by Supabase.
These statistics don't include a device ID, advertising ID, account ID, name or contact details, so they can't be used to identify you.
Data stored on your device
Your characters, items, progress and settings are saved on your device. Uninstalling the game deletes them, unless you use cloud saves (see section 5).
2. Analytics and game services by Unity
The game is built with Unity and uses Unity Analytics and Unity's remote settings service, which is how game settings and news (for example about my other games) are updated without an app update. Unity may collect device information, such as device model, operating system and a Unity-generated install identifier, as well as gameplay events. Details: Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.
3. Advertising
The game shows only optional rewarded ads, which you choose to watch for in-game rewards. There are no forced ads. Ads are served by the following providers, with ironSource LevelPlay deciding which network shows a given ad:
| Provider | Privacy policy |
|---|---|
| Google AdMob | policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites |
| Unity Ads | unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy |
| ironSource (Unity LevelPlay) | developers.is.com/ironsource-mobile/air/ironsource-mobile-privacy-policy |
These providers may automatically collect information such as your advertising ID, IP address, device type, operating system, coarse location derived from your IP address, and how you interact with ads. They use it to show you personalized or non-personalized ads, measure ad performance and prevent fraud, under their own privacy policies.
Your consent and choices
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: the game asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time with the privacy button in the game's menu.
- iOS: the game asks for permission to track you before your advertising ID can be used. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads, depending on your device).
- If you don't consent, you may still see ads, but they won't be personalized.
4. In-app purchases
Supporter tiers are bought through the App Store or Google Play, which handle the payment. I receive only a confirmation of which item was purchased. I never receive your name, email address or payment details. See Apple's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy.
5. Cloud saves, Game Center and Google Play Games
If you use them, the game signs in to Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android) and stores your save files in your iCloud or Google Play Games account. These saves are kept by Apple or Google under their privacy policies and are not accessible to me. You can delete them through your iCloud or Google account settings.
6. Multiplayer
When you play online multiplayer, the game connects to Photon servers run by Exit Games. Photon processes your IP address and the in-game data needed to run the session, such as your character and its actions, under its own privacy policy. Players in the same session can see your character.
7. Other network requests
For timed in-game rewards, the game checks the current time with a public web server. That server receives only the standard information that comes with any web request, such as your IP address.
8. Children
Powerlust is rated 12+ and is not directed at children under 13. I don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, please contact me and I will help remove it.
9. Legal bases and your rights
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland: anonymous gameplay statistics are processed on the basis of my legitimate interest in improving the game, and personalized advertising is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time as described in section 3.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because the statistics I collect can't be linked to you, I can't look them up for an individual player. For data held by the third parties above, please use the links in this policy or contact them directly.
10. Data retention
Anonymous gameplay statistics are kept for as long as they are useful for improving the game. Data held by third parties is kept according to their own policies.
11. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy when the game or the services it uses change. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the game's update notes.
12. Contact
